Positive living

Positive Living is about taking care of your body, mind and spirit and making sure the environment arounds you supports good health.

If you feel stressed or worried you are more likely to become sick.

TALC believes that Positive Living is a way of life that all Zambians can benefit from - whether they are infected or affected.

There are a number of ways you can live positively and keep your body healthy and avoid getting ill. They are:

+ Eating lots of different types of food

+ Keeping your body active

+ Getting sleep and rest when you need it

+ Thinking positively and looking after your spiritual and emotional health

+ Regular check ups

+ and many many more!

Positive Living is also about seeking support when you need it, including going for counselling, joining a support group or visiting your health care provider regularly.

TALC also believes that positive role models can help Zambian people living with HIV and AIDS live more positive and productive lives.
