  Treatment

Why treatment?

For TALC, treatment means ensuring people living with HIV and AIDS in Zambia have access to the complete continuum of care and treatment.

This means acess to everything from treatment through counselling after testing positive, to access to information about positive living and antiretroviral therapy.

To ensure people living with HIV and AIDS have full access to treatment, TALC is educating people so that they know their treatment rights, understand their treatment needs and are able to advocate effectively - at local, national and international levels - to ensure those needs are met.

TALC has plans to improve treatment information for PLHA in Zambia, by advocating for increased treatment information to be produced by relevant NGOs and government ministries.
